Zephyr is the solution to offer a full bed, full privacy and full aisle access at the price of Premium Economy.
Bunk beds can be luxurious if designed well. Industries such as hospitality, rail travel, and yachting, have all adopted some variation of a bunk bed to optimize space.
Zephyr is a carefully optimize solution to maximize space efficiency, passenger comfort and accessibility.
Zephyr is also designed to answer to the many constraints of engineering and certification requirements of an aircraft interior product
ACLA engineered Zephyr 3.0 structure to be fully integrated and optimize to accommodate for maximum comfort.
Each seat structure is fully independent and is only connected to the aircraft seat tracks.
Small spaces can be comfortable if designed well.

Zephyr 3.0 is over 3 years of iterative design and engineering alternating mockups and digital reviews with passengers, airlines, regulatory agencies and aircraft manufacturers.
The last iteration of the design mockup proved to be the most successful. We confirmed that the height of the bunk made it easy for upper and lower egress, that the lower egress ceiling height was comfortable in a sitting position and he ladder/handle design was affective at providing a comfortable upper bunk egress.
We confirmed the bed space provided was effective.
